Project Background
With the continuous increase in annual production yield, the existing warehouse of ZTE will not be able to afford the significant increase of workload. Facing shortage of warehouse space, overload of working capacity and non-synchronization situation of material flow & information flow, ZTE was subject to great pressure from vendors as well as internal production planning, procurement and financial department. BPS made use of advanced logistics concepts, techniques, professional support and in-depth knowledge and experiences in logistics market, to help improve the operation of ZTE warehouse.
Project Summary
After conducting research and analysis, BPS focuses on the change of both “hardware” and “software” in material distribution division. The former refers to improvements in layout design, organization division and restructure of operating procedure, while the latter points to information technologies, such as implementation of WMS. The overall objective of this project is to optimize the material distribution division so as to achieve standardization, professionalism and information-based as well.

BPS has treated the overall development strategy as a guide to provide comprehensive, scientific and measurable information for improving warehouse efficiency. As a result, the proposed solution can become more forward-looking, realistic, professional and operable which in turn provide a strong and accurate support for decision maker of this project. After implementation of the plan, the product storage becomes more reasonable and the operating efficiency is greatly improved. This provides an essential support for the rapid growth and development of ZTE.
